What really is Glambitious? To answer that question, Glambitious is only the greatest company in the world... Kidding (but not really)! We are a 100% all-natural, vegan skincare company. But, unlike any other skincare brand, Glambitious prides ourselves on our beautiful and glamorous packaging. Why not be healthy and glamorous?
Glambitious is Healthy. We are dedicated to using only the best ingredients in our products! Some companies just say they use the best... we truly do use the best. We use only ingredients that have been certified 100% all-natural AND vegan. We refuse to use chemicals in our products, because we are aware of the dangers that they have been linked to. There are thousands of articles that explain how chemicals in our skincare products are causing various cancers, diseases and birth defects. We NEVER want to put our clients at risk for any of these! We also use vegan ingredients because we understand that animal products are 100% not needed in our skincare products. Our skincare products should be 100% pure. Finally, we package all of our products in glass or metal packaging. Why is that? Because these packages won't add chemicals back into our products, like plastic packaging has been proven to do. We also use all-natural and vegan ingredients because our skin reacts best to these products. Our skin was not designed to react to chemicals, which is why skincare products will generally only cover up our flaws. Glambitious products will fix the problem, leaving you with beautiful skin! It is that simple... we create great skincare products with the best ingredients!
Glambitious is Glamorous. We understand that our customers are glamorous, beautiful and extremely girly! That's okay... We've got you covered! Our packaging was designed to show our true colors... literally! We decorate our products with hot pink bows and rhinestones. The bow signifies that our natural skincare routine is a daily gift to ourselves. The rhinestones add a touch of sparkle, to remind us that living healthy doesn't have to lack glamour and glitz!
How did Glambitious begin? It all started in July of 2005... I, Allison, was 12 years old and was a typical "bored tween" during the summer months. My Mom had found a recipe for bathing salts in one of her magazines and saved it for me to make one afternoon. I enjoyed baking, and this seemed to be pretty similar, so by the time my Mom got home in the evening, I had made a lifetime's supply of bathing salts. In order to get rid of some product, I was instructed to give some to my friends and some of our family's friends. A few weeks later some of my Mom's coworkers and friends asked when I would be making more products. I figured since I seemed to have all the time in the world (up until school started up again, that is), why not make more products? I went to the library and checked out every single book that they had about natural beauty. Through these books, I learned what ingredients are needed in order to create lotions, soaps, glosses and scrubs. I continued to make products throughout the years, but instead listened to my clientele. If someone wanted a product to heal their rosacea, I knew to use grapeseed oil and lavender. If someone needed a super healing lotion, I added aloe vera oil. From this I found my passion. My passion to learn. My passion as an entrepreneur. And my passion to help others, one Glambitious product at a time.
