The Custom Candle Process

Your favors, handled via our white-glove approach!

Step 1 — Choose Your Scent & Size

This is where it gets fun! Tell us the notes that feel like the two of you and we'll curate a custom scent experience for you to choose your perfect scent! We want you to fall in love with your wedding scent, so we'll select 3 scents based on your favorite notes to mail to you to experience in-person. Think of this as a cake tasting, but for your nose!

We'll also help you choose the right candle vessel for your wedding aesthetic and budget. You'll also choose your packaging additions at this stage, and we'll collect a 50% deposit to begin.

Step 2 — Share Your Wedding Aesthetic

Share your wedding mood board, invitation suite, floral designs, color palette or a Pinterest link, and our team designs will design a custom label just for your special day. We'll match your palette, mirror your aesthetic and make sure every detail is cohesive and intentional!

Step 3 — Approve Your Digital Proof

Before a single candle is poured, you'll receive a digital mockup of your labels and packaging for review. We include one round of revisions so everything looks exactly right. Once you approve, your order is officially in production and you can officially check "favors" off the list!

Step 4 — White Glove Production & Delivery

We'll hand-pour every candle, apply your custom label, package each one with care, and ship everything to you, your planner, your venue, or directly to individual guests (if we're doing Save-the-Date candles, or if you have a destination wedding and would rather candles ship directly to guests).

What occasions can I order custom wedding candles for?

All of them! We create custom candle wedding favors for reception tables, bridal proposal boxes for asking your bridesmaids, bridesmaid and maid of honor gift sets, wedding welcome boxes for out-of-town guests, bridal shower favors, and rehearsal dinner gifts. If it's part of your wedding weekend, we can make a candle for it.

Do I need a logo or professional design files?

Not at all... that's one of the things brides love most about working with us. Just share your wedding mood board, invitation suite, Pinterest inspiration, or even a color palette and our team designs your label from scratch. No graphic design experience needed on your end.

What's the minimum order size?

Our standard minimum is 36 candles, which works beautifully for both intimate weddings and larger celebrations. If you need fewer for a bridal party proposal set or a small shower, we can accommodate most smaller orders with a $200 small order fee.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We try to book all wedding orders at least 6 months in advance (most of our couples book about a year out to secure their date), to allow enough time to make sure we capture all of the extra special details! We can work as late as 6 weeks in advance, but we will have limited options for only in-stock vessels and a rush order fee may apply.

Can I get a scent sample before committing?

Yes, we'll curate a custom scent experience for you to choose your perfect scent! We want you to fall in love with your wedding scent, so we'll select 3 scents based on your favorite notes to mail to you to experience in-person. Think of this as a cake tasting, but for your nose!

We do require that a 50% deposit is placed to secure your spot, before sending out scent samples.

Can I use the candles as escort cards or a seating display?

One of our absolute favorite ideas! A favor display of custom candles, each labeled with a guest's name and table number, doubles as a stunning escort card display and a take-home favor. Guests love it, and it photographs beautifully. (Your photographer will thank you, too!)

Can you ship directly to my venue or wedding planner?

Absolutely. We can ship everything to a single destination (your venue, planner, or hotel) or, for save-the-date candles, ship individually addressed packages directly to your guests at a flat $12.50 per package.

What if I'm ordering for multiple occasions, like favors AND bridal proposal boxes?

We do this all the time and love it! We'll work with you to coordinate the aesthetic across all your candle moments so everything from the proposal to the reception feels intentional and beautifully connected.

What are the candles made of?

Our candles are poured with a coconut-soy wax blend and clean scents, free from toxins, Prop 65 chemicals and anything harmful. Just a beautiful, crackling wooden wick and a scent your guests will want to take home. Safe for every household, including pet-friendly ones!

Are quantity discounts available?

Yes! Orders of 100+ candles are eligible for a 10% discount whereas orders of 250+ are eligible for a 25% discount. Just mention your quantity when you reach out and we'll include bulk pricing in your custom quote.

A Bespoke Scent for your Wedding Only

For the bride who wants every detail to be truly one-of-a-kind: we offer bespoke scent development for a select number of couples each year. Over 3–6 months, we'll hand-blend a signature scent that captures your love story... the notes that remind you of each other, your favorite places, the feeling of your big day. This scent becomes yours, poured into every candle at your wedding and beyond!

Bespoke scent development starts at $2,500 (not including material costs).
