ALLISON
Founder & Candle Connoisseur
Allison founded Applewood Candle Co. with a simple mission... to create luxury home fragrance that never compromises on ingredients.
She spends her days developing new scents, dreaming up gifting experiences and ensuring every detail meets the Applewood Standard. When she's not in the studio, you'll likely find her in the garden, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or taking Magnolia on a walk with her husband, John.
MAGNOLIA

Magnolia may not pour the candles, but she inspired the entire company. After experiencing sensitivities to traditional fragrance products as a puppy, she became the reason Applewood Candle Co. was founded.
These days, her responsibilities include supervising production, greeting visitors, quality-testing cozy spots around the studio and barking at the team to remind them that she should never go more than 30 minutes without a treat break. Its a hard job, but someone has to do it!
When she's off the clock, you can usually find her chasing squirrels, supervising the garden or perfecting the art of afternoon naps.
CINDY

Cindy has been part of Applewood Candle Co. since the very beginning... and yes, she's also Allison's mom.
What started as lending a helping hand quickly turned into an essential role within the business. From processing candles and packaging orders, to keeping the studio running smoothly during our busiest seasons, Cindy helps ensure every order leaves the studio with the care and attention our clients have come to expect. Her dedication, attention to detail, and unwavering support have helped shape Applewood into what it is today!
When she's not in the studio, Cindy is likely spending time with her golden retriever, Tank (the favorite child), tending to her garden or enjoying time with family.
AMANDA
Right-hand to the founder
Amanda works alongside Allison on everything from custom gifting and client relationships to marketing initiatives and day-to-day operations.
As the Founder’s Right Hand, she helps turn ideas into action, keeps projects moving forward and ensures the Applewood experience is thoughtful from start to finish. Her creativity, organization,and heart for serving clients make her an invaluable part of the team!
Outside of work, you'll likely find Amanda cheering on one of her favorite sports teams or making memories with her husband and their two boys.
NATALIE
Studio Manager
Natalie helps keep the studio running smoothly behind the scenes.
From pouring candles and preparing orders to managing inventory and supporting production, she plays a key role in bringing each Applewood product to life. Her attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship help ensure every order arrives beautifully made and thoughtfully packaged.
When she's away from the studio, she's usually chauffeuring the kiddos from bowling practice to volleyball or heading off on a camping adventure with her family.
MELISSA
POP-UP MARKET ASSISTANT
Melissa helps bring the Applewood experience to life at pop-up markets and community events.
Whether she's helping clients discover a new favorite scent, sharing our story or creating a welcoming shopping experience, she's always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. Her friendly personality and enthusiasm make her a wonderful ambassador for the brand.
When she's not at an event, you'll likely find her spending time with her husband, out on their boat, or enjoying one of many walks each day with their boxer, Hitch.
